Athyrium filix-femina Dre’s Dagger, Lady Fern

An attention getting deciduous Lady Fern with lacy fronds that form a unique three-dimensional X, each ending in a small petticoat. Each frond matures at just over 18” long, while each cross measures 1.5” from tip to tip. It’s tall fronds grow in a dense clump resembling a shuttlecock. Easy to grow in rich, moist, well-drained soil in part to full shade. Protect from strong winds which can break its fronds.
